Dr. Carrie Ousley

started Dimond Chiropractic Center in 2007. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in 2001, graduating cum laude. She also has a B.A from Indiana University. In addition to these degrees, she also has her certification in ergonomic evaluations and has extensive hours of post-graduate education in the treatment of whiplash. She specializes in the treatment of injuries due to auto accidents, but treats patients for a wide variety of problems.

Prior to opening Dimond Chiropractic Center, Dr. Ousley ran a busy chiropractic office in Modesto, California. There, she enjoyed working with her sister Teresa, who is also a chiropractor.

Dr. Ousley first became interested in chiropractic when she was very young. Her parents were concerned about her being “pigeon toed” when she walked, so took her to a chiropractor. After several visits, her gait improved. Then, in high school, after being injured in a major car accident, chiropractic helped once again by reducing her pain so she didn’t have to take pain medication and helped return her to school faster. (That part wasn’t so great!)

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, music and making the most of life with friends and family.

DR. LAUREN EMGE

joined Dimond Chiropractic center in 2023 after working for a year and a half at a busy clinic in San Francisco. A Bay Area native, Dr. Lauren played D1 water polo at UC Davis before getting her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Life Chiropractic College West. She learned the ins and out of rehabing her athletic injuries with trainers but didn’t learn about the benefits of chiropractic care until graduating.

After 8 years of stabbing pain under her shoulder blade from the repetitive motion of throwing in the pool, chiropractic care was the only treatment solution that worked and took the pain away long term. This leads Dr. Lauren to approach patient complaints from both a nervous system and musculoskeletal perspective, remembering that everything in the body is interconnected. With the knowledge that both physical and emotional trauma can be stored in the body she approaches physical complaints with compassion and understanding that each person’s history and experiences may shape their expression of health.
